What is Image Classification?

Image classification is a way computers can look at pictures and figure out what’s in them. It’s like showing a picture to a child and asking them to tell you what they see. The computer uses special algorithms, which are like recipes for the computer to follow, to analyze the image and decide what’s in it. These algorithms are trained on huge collections of pictures, so the computer can learn what different objects look like.
